Pitch Deck & Investor Narrative: Turn Your Vision Into Capital
Investors spend an average of 3 minutes and 44 seconds looking at a deck. You don't have time to be confusing. We craft the story, the financial model, and the design that gets you the second meeting.
The "Great Product, Bad Story" Problem
You have a disruptive product. You have a passionate team. You have early traction. But when you pitch to VCs or Angels, you get the polite "No."
The 3-Layer Narrative Framework
We build decks that satisfy both the "Gut" (Emotion) and the "Brain" (Logic).
What We Deliver
We don't send you a Canva link and disappear. We deliver a complete Fundraising Toolkit — four assets that work together to get you funded.
A text-heavy version designed to be read without you in the room. This is what you email to get the first meeting.
Visual-heavy version for Zoom calls or in-person meetings. Minimal text. Big visuals. The focus stays on you, the presenter.
A stress-tested spreadsheet showing your P&L projections for the next 3–5 years. The numbers match the story in the deck.
We write your opening and closing lines. We coach you on tone, pacing, and how to handle the hardest investor questions.
Who Is This For?
Every stage of fundraising needs a different story. We tailor the narrative, the numbers, and the design to exactly where you are.
You have an MVP and a dream. You need to raise $500K from Friends, Family, and Angels to hire your first engineer.
You have $1M in ARR. You need to raise $10M to scale. The story shifts from vision to proof — metrics, retention, and unit economics.
You are an executive trying to get budget for a new innovation project. We help you sell the internal ROI to your board — the "Intrapreneurship" pitch.
Why Founders Trust Makerspace
Most agencies make things look pretty. We are product builders who understand capital. That's the difference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before we start building your fundraising toolkit.
Yes. Always. Your intellectual property, financial data, and trade secrets are safe with us. We use secure servers and delete your data 30 days after project completion. We treat your deck with the same confidentiality a law firm would treat privileged client communications.
While we are primarily a Strategy & Design firm, we do open our Rolodex for select clients who pass our internal due diligence. However, our main job is to arm you to do the outreach effectively — so that you walk into any room with the most compelling version of your story.
2 to 3 weeks, broken into three clear phases. Week 1: Narrative extraction and financial modeling — we go deep on your business and build the story architecture. Week 2: Design and visualization — we turn the narrative into a visually stunning deck. Week 3: Refinement and pitch coaching — we sharpen the delivery, run mock Q&A sessions, and make final tweaks until you're ready to walk into any room with confidence.
Generally, no. We work on a fixed-fee basis. This keeps us unbiased — we work for you, not for a future payout that might be 10 years away. Our incentive is a great deck, a happy client, and a strong referral. That alignment produces better work.
Not much to begin with. We start with a 60-minute founder intake call where we extract the core narrative through structured questions. If you have an existing deck, financials, or any investor feedback — bring it. But if you're starting from scratch with just a napkin sketch and a burning idea, that's perfectly fine too. We've built funded decks from less.
