Here is a look back at the energy, talent, and achievements from our recent major Sui Move in Campus university activations:

Sui Move in Campus Highlights: Pangasinan Tour

Our mission is clear: to drive the nationwide adoption of Sui by making high-level Web3 education accessible. The momentum generated by these workshops confirms the bright future of our local dev community.

Sui Move in Campus at PhilCST: Energy and Future Builders

On September 17, 2025, the Philippine College Of Science & Technology (PhilCST) in Calasiao, Pangasinan hosted a high-energy Sui Move in Campus event. The full-day session was packed with deep learning, focusing on the fundamentals of the Move language, secure smart contract development, and the unique architecture of the Sui Network. Participants, from beginners to experienced coders, immersed themselves in these crucial topics, embodying the collaborative spirit that makes the Sui Move in Campus experience so unforgettable.

Sui Move in Campus at JGMNHS: High School Web3 Success

Breaking barriers for Web3 education, the tour arrived at Juan G. Macaraeg National High School (JGMNHS) in Binalonan, Pangasinan on October 6, 2025. This Sui Move in Campus event successfully equipped high school students with real development skills. The immersive, hands-on workshop format proved highly effective, cementing Sui PH’s role as a leader in educational outreach and fostering a new generation of builders.

Sui Move in Campus at PSU – Urdaneta City Campus: Igniting Future Engineers

Targeting the region’s top technical talent, the Sui Move in Campus event at Pangasinan State University (PSU) – Urdaneta City Campus on October 8, 2025, was a strategic success. Focused on Computer Engineering and Information Technology students, the workshop prioritized real-time, hands-on development. This activation, spearheaded by City Lead Arjay Francisco, directly connected the Sui ecosystem with the university’s technical backbone, ensuring future engineers have practical Web3 experience.

Sui Move in Campus at UL: Mastering Move

The tour hit another major milestone at the University of Luzon (UL) in Dagupan City on October 9, 2025. This intensely practical Sui Move in Campus event demanded participants transition from spectators to confident builders through continuous hands-on work. Under the guidance of experts, UL students demonstrated mastery over the Move language and the Sui architecture, successfully reinforcing the strategic value of accessible education in driving adoption.

The Unified Sui Move in Campus Curriculum

Across all campuses, a unified, structured curriculum was delivered by the Sui PH Core Team (Robi Lloren), City Lead Developers (Tzar Umang and Arjay Francisco) and community member (Miguel Castro), ensuring a consistent pathway to expertise through every Sui Move in Campus workshop:

The curriculum kicked off with Module 1: Blockchain Fundamentals & Sui 101, where attendees learned the core blockchain principles and a detailed introduction to Sui’s object model and parallel execution.

Next, in Module 2: Introduction to Move, participants dove into the Move programming language, gaining the foundational knowledge for secure smart contract development that is central to the Sui Move in Campus mission.

The learning then became highly practical in Modules 3 & 4: Smart Contracts & Building a dApp on SUI. Participants got a comprehensive look at writing a first smart contract and integrating dApp front-ends.

Following development, the segment on Local to Live Deployment, led by community member Miguel Castro, showed participants how to seamlessly move their completed dApps to a live, accessible state via cloud deployment.

Finally, the program was concluded in Module 5: Advanced Features (Walrus), exploring advanced tooling, specifically Walrus, Sui’s decentralized storage protocol.

The Lasting Impact of the Sui Move in Campus

The overwhelmingly positive reception at every school highlights the strategic importance of these university activations in building a robust local developer community. The success of the Sui Move in Campus tour is not just measured in attendance, but in the tangible skills gained and the inspiration ignited.
