Deep Dive into Digital Forensics: DICT Equips Local Leaders with Crucial Skills

From September 23rd to 27th, 2024, the University of Luzon became a hub for knowledge sharing as the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) organized a 5-day intensive training program on Digital Forensics. This vital initiative aimed to equip participants from various Local Government Units (LGUs), organizations, and sectors with the skills and tools needed to navigate the complex world of digital evidence investigation.

The training program was a remarkable collaborative effort, bringing together the expertise of renowned professionals: Sir Tzar Umang, an IS Audit & Digital Forensics Expert from MakerspaceInnovhub, and Sir Christian Idia, a Certified Ethical Hacker & Digital Forensics Expert from DigiForce. Both speakers shared their deep knowledge and practical experience, guiding participants through the intricate world of digital forensics.
